As of May 2021 Dr. Nevins will be closing her practice. She has taken a new position as the Assistant Dean of Graduate Medical Education and Program Development at Touro University in Vallejo, CA. Dr. Nevins is Board Certified in Family Medicine, Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She holds a Masters Degree is Health Professions Education and is a Professor of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Family Medicine at Touro University CA, College of Osteopathic Medicine. She currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Graduate Medical Education. 

Dr. Nevins served active duty in the United States Air Force, and is currently a Colonel in US Army Reserve serving as the Commander for the 328th Field Hospital.

Dr. Patti Kim, N.D., M.S. Oriental Medicine:

Naturopathic Doctor, Classical Chinese Medicine practitioner, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Clinical Nutrition, Qi Gong, Botanicals, Hydrotherapy and lifestyle counseling.

Dr. Patti Kim always felt a strong calling towards a life of medicine, healing and service. She knew early on that becoming a physician was what she wanted but never even conceived of the field of Naturopathic Medicine. She received her B.A. in Premedicine and Studio Art with a focus in Photography from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. While pursuing a road towards conventional medicine, she serendipitously discovered Naturopathic Medicine and knew it was the right path for her. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. She is grateful for the opportunity to live a life where she can embody her passion for art and medicine through the healing arts.

Dr. Kim has been trained extensively as a primary care physician who specializes in addressing the underlying causes of disease through effective, individualized natural therapies. Dr. Kim’s goal as a Naturopathic Doctor and Classical Chinese Medicine practitioner is to employ therapies that support and promote the body’s natural healing processes. She is passionate about the body’s magnificent abilities to self regulate and restore homeostasis. She believes in the body’s natural rhythms and integrating the body as a complete whole. She is driven by the six principles of naturopathic medicine which include: First Do No Harm, The Healing Power of Nature, Identify and Treat the Causes, Doctor as Teacher, Treat the Whole Person and Prevention.

Dr. Kim integrates Eastern and Western philosophies in order to best treat her patients. She tailors treatments to the needs of each individual. She employs treatment modalities of clinical nutrition, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, western and eastern botanicals, acupuncture, qi gong, and lifestyle counseling to treat acute and chronic disease. Dr. Kim believes in optimizing health in order to decrease the risks for familial tendencies and prevent chronic degenerative illnesses. She is devoted to this medicine, evolving as a healer, and helping to restore balance in each individual in order to reach the highest state of wellness possible.

Naturopathic Follow-up: $125.00, 60 min.

Acute care visit: $100.00, 30-45 min.

* Classical Homeopathy works to balance your whole body to treat medical conditions, trauma and mental/emotional issues. Homeopathy for example treats dental pain, digestive upset, muscle conditions, bone health, urinary, heart, skin and hormonal issues. It is also indicated in the relief of anxiety, self esteem and personal development issues.

* Debra’s Reiki sessions are deeply balancing and offer insights for healing life’s challenges. The Reiki offers immediate relief of stress by allowing the body and mind to rest and enter a nourishing recovery state. Debra ends every session with suggestions and advice on how to maintain the balanced state.

* Speech Language Pathology services are provided to all ages and all diagnosis. Also,Individuals interested in improving daily relationship and personal expression communication at work and home will benefit from this highly useful communication skill training.
